The Aixam GTI updated its 2016 model range, including the Coupe. The bowl gets the new shape of the roof and rear windows, as well as the new sleek taillights. GTI tapered line gives a greater presence to be seen and seen during all maneuvers. The unique dashboard Aixam GTI is an excellent combination of ergonomic controls & quality materials. The latest black leather steering wheel with chrome inserts brings a stylish touch.

The volume of the mirror is increased for optimal visibility. An indicator has been incorporated into the shell for better indication when changing direction. The new Axiam GT rims are available as an option on the GTO & GTI finishes and are designed to create a visual experience. With 16 inches in diameter and an 8-spoke design, they are enhanced by the choice of low-profile tires. But the most important part of the refresh is the new engine.

Kubota specially developed 479 ccs 2-cylinder inline diesel with an output of 6 kW (8.15 cv) at 3200 rpm and 21 Nm at 2500 rpm. The AIXAM Coupe with this engine has a top speed of 45 km / h and fuel consumption of 3.1 liters / 100 km. This engine is available for  Evo,  Premium, and Coupe GTi.

The engine is connected to a VSD-controlled automatic transmission. The top speed is 87 km / h. Fuel consumption – 3.6 liters / 100 km.AIXAM Gti is equipped with a 6 kW electric motor and lithium batteries. This is enough to accelerate the electric micromotor to 45 km / h.
