He has a younger brother named Terence.  Harrison Ford’s father is an advertising executive, and Harrison Ford’s mom is a former actress. Ford grew up in Park Ridge, Illinois, and attended Maine Township High School.

Harrison Ford attended Maine Township High School East in Park Ridge, Illinois, where he graduated in 1960. After high school, he went on to study philosophy at Ripon College in Wisconsin. However, he dropped out of college during his sophomore year and moved to California to pursue a career in acting.

After leaving college, Ford moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. He struggled to find work initially and worked as a carpenter to support himself.
