Mark Wahlberg Early Life

Mark Wahlberg was born (on June 5, 1971) in Dorchester,  United State of America. His parents, Alma and Donald Wahlberg divorced when he was just 11 years old. Wahlberg had a troubled childhood and was involved in a number of criminal activities. He dropped out of school at the age of 14 and became addicted to drugs. He was even involved in a number of violent incidents, including assaulting two Vietnamese men while shouting racial slurs.

However, Wahlberg eventually turned his life around after a stint in prison for assault. He began to pursue a career in music and formed the hip-hop group Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, which had several hit songs in the early 1990s. Wahlberg also started to act in films around this time, making his debut in the movie “Renaissance Man” in 1994.
